Today, you can make an immediate difference in the life of a child with Prader-Willi syndrome by pledging your support to PWSA of Colorado’s annual Kentucky Derby fundraiser. All of the proceeds from this event go to support PWSACO and our program services: research, awareness, education, and support of PWS children and families.
We are asking that you consider either a corporate sponsorship or in-kind donation for this year’s Kentucky Derby fundraiser. Any donation will help us, and we hope we can count on your support. Below are specific corporation donation levels that we hope you will consider when supporting us.
CORPORATE CASH DONATION PACKAGES
All donation packages include recognition at our event and here on our web site.
Additional items available to the corporate donor with in each package are:
- Prize Drawing Tickets. Every hour, there is a prize drawing where items are awarded to the winning ticket holder. A vast majority of these items are donated by businesses (like yours) in the community.
- Prader-Willi dollars. All financial transactions at the event (purchasing prize drawing tickets, bidding at the live auction, or betting on the horse race) are done with Prader-Willi dollars. At the event, these dollars have equivalent value to a US Dollar, but after the event, they do not.
- PWSA of Colorado t-shirts. These shirts promote our brand and get the word out.
SUGGESTED DONATION LEVELS
Storm in May - $500
Donors at this level will be recognized in our program, at our event on signage, as well as on our web site. Additionally, the corporation is eligible to have up to 2 people attend the event. Each person attending will receive the following event materials: 4 prize drawing tickets, $150 in Prader-Willi dollars, and a PWSA of Colorado T-Shirt.

Winning Colors donors will be recognized in our program, at our event on signage, as well as on our web site. Additionally, the corporation is eligible to have up to 4 people attend the event. Each person attending will receive the following event materials: 8 prize drawing tickets, $200 in Prader-Willi dollars, and a PWSA of Colorado T-Shirt.
Strike the Gold - $3,000
Strike the Gold donors will receive additional signage in our program (above the Winning Colors level), at our event and on our web site. Additionally, the corporation is eligible to have up to 8 people attend the event. Each person attending will receive the following event materials: 8 prize drawing tickets, $200 in Prader-Willi dollars, and a PWSA of Colorado T-Shirt.
Go for Gin - $5,000
Go for Gin donors will receive special signage in our program, at our event, and on our website. In addition, they will be recognized as a key corporate sponsor for PWSA of Colorado throughout the year. Donors at this level are eligible to have up to 12 people attend the event. Each person attending will receive the following event materials: 12 prize drawing tickets, $250 in Prader-Willi dollars, and a PWSA of Colorado T-Shirt.
