Big Brown Takes the Preakness in Fine Fashion

Perhaps this is the year that we finally see a Triple Crown Winner?  The weather was beautiful today here in Colorado, but that didn't stop me from sneaking in around 4pm to watch the Preakness.

Big Brown started out in the middle of the pack, and it was obvious that Jockey Kent Desormeaux was a bit timid on the first stretch past the grandstand.  Big Brown held a steady 3rd around the back and then Desmoreaux let him loose around the the final turn.  It was amusing to see him look under his shoulder on the final stretch and see no one around.  He held Big Brown back and won with ease.

Great race.  Read more about it on Fox News's Sports Site.
